2026 / 2027

One night a week, from first grade to twelfth.

Every class below runs twice, once in the fall and once again in the spring, with a showcase at the end of each term. Grade bands overlap on purpose, so a student who is ready early can move up without waiting for a birthday.

The board

Six rooms, and none of them start with a script.

Grades 1 to 3 · Musical Theatre 1

Broadway Bound

The first room. Acting, singing and dancing arrive through games and skits, so a six year old is performing for twenty minutes before anyone tells her that is what she is doing.

Grades 3 to 5 · Musical Theatre 2

Broadway & Beyond

Songs get performed rather than sung, and choreography gets mastered rather than followed. Acting and improvisation run underneath both, because a number that is not acted is just a recital.

LOL Improv

Improvisation and spontaneous performance. No script to hide behind, which is the point: the fastest way to stop being afraid of the wrong answer is to be given no right one.

Comedy of Errors

In their own words, hilarious exercises that build fearless confidence. Teenagers, an hour and a quarter, and a room where being ridiculous on purpose is the assignment.

The longest class on the board at ninety minutes, and the only one that mounts a full theatrical production. Voice projection and character development are worked on until the back row can hear the quiet line.

The rest of the year

And two ways in that are not a Tuesday night.

Summer Drama Camp

Three weeks, open to children entering grades 3 to 11 in the fall. Campers are grouped by age and rotate through musical theatre, acting, dancing, singing, improvisation and arts and crafts, with a morning snack and a midday lunch break. Rehearsal time grows as the three weeks go on, and the camp ends in a full performance. There is no camp on July 4th.

2026 sessions · Willy Wonka Jr. and Guys & Dolls Jr.

Jennifer Kenny directs the instruction and the final performance, supported by professionals in acting, singing, dancing and music.

Private coaching

One to one, for the work a group room cannot do: audition preparation, a monologue that has to be ready by a date, voice and diction, or a student who wants to go faster than a fourteen week term allows. Katie, a Fairfield student, put it plainly about her first hour here: she learned more about getting into character than in a year with another coach.

Ask about availability

Registration

The terms, before you reach a payment screen.

  • $100 registration fee

Non-refundable, charged once when you register a student for a session.

  • Tuition due at registration

Full tuition is payable when the place is taken, not in instalments across the term.

  • 10 day refund cut-off

No refunds are available inside 10 days of the session start date.

  • Low enrolment

A class can be cancelled if too few students enrol, which is why the early weeks of registration matter.

Not sure which room a nine year old belongs in? Ask.
